Management Team
John Murphy CEO

Dr. John Murphy has substantial experience as a
consultant to the US Federal Government and other corporates,
on performance and simulation of enterprise computer
systems and networks. He has developed and trained internationally
at British Telecommunications Laboratory and the University of
London, as well as for many multinational companies in the UK
and Ireland. He has published over 100 scientific papers on
Performance Engineering. Dr. Murphy is a Fellow of the Irish
Computer Society, a Senior Member of the IEEE, a Fellow and
Chartered Engineer of Engineers Ireland and an IBM Faculty
Fellow. He is currently an academic with the School of Computer
Science and Informatics at University College Dublin, Ireland.
Trevor Parsons CTO

Dr. Trevor Parsons brings to crovan indepth knowledge of complex
enterprise computing systems. He is a recognised expert in the field of
performance testing with a particluar focus on Java enterprise systems.
He has published widely on topics such as enterprise system design
(patterns and antipattens), performance, monoitoring and data analysis.
His research has been awarded internationally and he continuously
works closely with industry (e.g. IBM) and is leading numerous research
projects in the area of performance of enterprise systems. His industry
experience also includes training and software development conusltancy.
Dr. Parsons is currently a staff member with the School of Computer
Science and Informatics at University College Dublin, Ireland.
Liam Murphy COO

Prof. Liam Murphy brings over ten years of experience in performance
modelling and analysis to crovan, as well as several years' experience
leading research and development teams both in US and Irish
universities.
Since 1998 he has managed the Performance Engineering Laboratory, where
he directs computer systems and multimedia research efforts.
He has published over 100 scientific papers on Performance Engineering.
Prof. Murphy is currently on the academic staff of the School of Computer
Science and Informatics at University College Dublin, Ireland.
